This video provides information about the upcoming DRC Portal enhancements so that seasoned Test Administrators can make an informed decision as to whether they feel they need to attend training this summer.

- IMPORTANT: As a reminder, training is highly recommended even for seasoned test administrators because of the new enhancements that will be released after the maintenance window.

LAS Links Resources Supporting Program Goals & Language Development
The following resources are available via the LAS Battery of Assessments to all Texas LEAs and are designed to support instructional planning, measure program effectiveness, and enhance language development beyond EB student identification.
PreLAS OBSERVATIONAL PROGRESS ASSESSMENT FOR SUMMER SCHOOL
- designed to allow systematic observation, recording, and monitoring of young children’s languageand early literacy skills in order to provide a summary of progress to the student’s parents at the end ofthe summer school program and their teacher at the beginning of the next regular school term.

LAS LINKS INTERIM FOR CREDIT BY EXAM AND SPANISH COURSE PLACEMENT
- LAS Links Español Form B as an option for LEAs to place students in Spanish I–VI courses.
- Use the DRC research developed table that aligns LAS Links Español B results to ACTFL proficiency levels and TEKS expectations.

TEACHER INCENTIVE ALLOTMENT (TIA)

- LAS Links has been approved by the TEA as a growth measure in Texas under Texas Education Code(TEC) 48.112 (Teacher Incentive Allotment).

- LAS Links interim assessments (English and Spanish) provides teachers with key data that supports instructional planning, continuous growth and accountability.
- Key to school improvement is the Professional Development DRC provides focusing on LAS Links dataanalysis and interpretation to guide school planning, monitoring critical actions identified by the school to improve student learning, and to reflect on progress made to determine next steps.
PROGRAM EVALUATION
- LAS Links provides the data LEAs need in their annual report to meet the Chapter 89.1265 ProgramEvaluation requirements:
- Show the “extent to which emergent bilingual students are developing English proficiency bybilingual education and/or ESL program model, INCLUDING proficiency in the partner languagefor students participating in a dual language immersion program model.
